The CGL Examination is Divided into 3 Parts(Tiers):
Tier-I Exam:- Tier-I Exam was held on 1st July 2012 and will be held on 8th July 2012 and this CGL Tier 1 Examination will be in both the Languages(Hindi and English).

Tier-II Exam:- The Tier-II Examination for CGL will also be a Multiple type Question Paper and this examination will be held on 2 days. i.e 15th September, 2012 and 16th September. The Tier-II Examination will be given only those candidates who have Qualified the Tier-I Examination

Tier-III Exam:- This Test will Consist of Personal Interview, Personality Test, Computer Test and this Exam will consist of 100 Marks.
